Hello again.

It's been a while since my last post, so much for my intention of posting every night! Well Ralph and I got back from our weekend in St. John's last night. We had originally intended to stay in Sunday night and drive out today, but I just couldn't handle it. I missed Max too much. I honestly felt physically unwell being away from him. Strange hey? So we left at around 6:30 last night and got home at 11:30. I'm still at Mom's now with Max because Ralph has a term paper due tomorrow night, so I'm giving him a break so he can work on it. Did a lot of shopping in St. John's, mostly for Max but I got some new work clothes for myself because nothing fits anymore. I'm working on Wednesday, I told them I can come back for one day a week for now, just to see how Max (and I) handle it. I have feeling he'll cope better than I will. Max's vaccinations are tomorrow afternoon, and I am dreading it so much. It's driving me bonkers. I know he needs the shots, but I can't handle the thought of him in pain. He was stuck with so many needles and IV when he was in the hospital when he was born, now he has to go through it again. I just hope he doesn't have a bad reaction to them. I have to do some research on giving him a little bit of baby Tylenol before we go to help ease the reaction. Mom said she thinks he is cutting his teeth too, because he is drooling a massive amount and keeps trying to chew on his dummies and nipples of his bottles and his fingers. I didn't even know babies could teethe so early, but apparently they can. Man, it just feels like he is already growing up way too fast, and he is only 2 months old, how am I going to feel when he is 2, or 22? I can't even imagine that! Well, I think I'm going to go watch some TV and go to bed, Max has been sleeping from 8pm until about 4am the past few nights, and then sleeping after his bottle until about 7am! He's been asleep for a few hours already, so I'm going to try to get a few hours in before his 4am feeding if I can. I'm a hopelessly light sleeper though, and he's here in the room with me, so we'll see how it goes. If I don't get much sleep tonight, I'll just give him to mom for a few hours tomorrow morning and take a little nap. Night all!

Another Blog

So I've found yet another site to frequent when I'm bored at night. :) I already use livejournal.com, facebook.com and my e-mail, so now I have this one too. Let's hope I'm a little better at updating this one than I have been at updating blogs in the past.
Ralph and had a little photo shoot with Max today, I'm so happy with the way the pictures came out. I'm going to get some prints done of them when we go to St. John's this weekend, because I wasn't happy with how his Wal-Mart picturess came out. I mean, they're cute and everything, because any picture of Max is cute, but he was crying the whole time during the shoot at Wal-Mart so his face is all blotchy in the pictures.

The first one is by far my favorite picture of Max to date. I want that one in the biggest size I can get! LOL. The other one is awesome too, simply because it's his first smile captured on camera. He's been smiling here and there for a little over a week now, but we haven't managed to get a picture of it until now.
